You may know many or a few...
But I was raised by a strong person whom was a single parent. She has taught me so many things on how to treat others, handle relationships and how to embrace motherhood. She was raised by another positive person and was surrounded by positive people also. I am very proud
to have had the mentoring of my mother and grandmother and aunt and cousins and friends and role models in the neighborhoods that I resided in. It is however true that it sometimes take a community or village to help with raising a positive and successful individual. Many dont believe that rule of the thumb but some of us do. But being involved in anothers life means alot to them in time it may reveal. Many of us never get the chance to thank others for baking cookies, giving us rides, babysitting us, telling us a story with a life skills lesson, or a simple handshake or hug or smile.... whatever the reason give back to your own community or children it is worth the favor....
